Saravah Presents: Brazilian Grooves Concert Series

Saravah proudly presents the Brazilian Grooves Concert Series, a vibrant, year-round celebration of Brazilian music, culture, and community in Ottawa. Running from May 2026 to February 2027, the series brings together acclaimed artists from Brazil and the Brazilian diaspora, offering audiences an exciting journey through the diverse rhythms, stories, and sounds of Brazil.

From samba and pagode to MPB, bossa nova, Afro-Brazilian and reggae rhythms, contemporary Brazilian music, and Carnaval traditions, the series highlights both emerging and internationally celebrated artists while creating meaningful opportunities for cultural exchange, artistic collaboration, and community connection.

Hosted across some of Ottawa’s most beloved venues — including the National Arts Centre, Bronson Centre, Little Favela Studio, and the 27 Club — the series aims to strengthen access to Brazilian arts and culture while creating joyful, inclusive gathering spaces where newcomers, longtime residents, and music lovers alike can celebrate together.

The Brazilian Grooves Concert Series is built through meaningful collaborations and community partnerships that strengthen Ottawa’s Brazilian cultural ecosystem. Saravah is proud to collaborate with Axé WorldFest, Latin Hub, Mari Palhares of Geladona, and Showzaco ( both from Toronto)  whose shared commitment to celebrating Brazilian music and culture helps amplify the impact and reach of the series.
